I haven't been in awhile, at least not for coins. But there's nothing as exhilarating as finding seeing that glint of silver when digging a hole in the ground! Plus now the silver is worth so much, actually makes it a hobby with a much better chance for a return on your investment. I need to get my detector fixed though..............

I was prescribed these for my asthma which it has only made it worse. I took 1 pill and I refuse to take anymore. I get them at a huge discount through insurance and I know they are a big expense so if anyone needs them let me know and we can make a deal! Right now I have an opened bottle with 1 missing and a full bottle with seal still intact.

I am doing a project for my school and want to find out if anyone knows a formal title (________ist) for anyone who is a marble collector. I know someone out there knows the correct name, but I could not find it on any of my web searches. Thanks.

my biggest hobby is building huge Marble Runs. I'm also like to collect unique marbles. I'm also set the guinness record longest marble run in 2009 measuring 690 feet (which is surpassed by someone else, 4639 feet).

I am so pissed about the delay of GTA5 coming to us. Stupid, Rockstar. What's so great about your stupid GTA? I don't give a damn. I won't buy it and I will not buy another GTA game again.

GTA is not original at all. Before GTA3 (3D graphics "reinvented" the franchise), Urban Chaos is much better, and it is original. And above all, you played as a law enforcer in Urban Chaos, not some sorry bandit with no good life at all.

Quit the PC market, Rockstar and 2K, you are not needed here.

Scanning my Steam Library, I noticed I've acquired (mostly via bundles) quite a few games which are likely to remain - well - unfinished.

We have plenty of "Early Access is the devil" and "Kickstarter is Shitstarter" threads already so let's just focus on our own, personal, graveyards of disappointment and see what we have eh?

Mine include

123 Kick It Drop That Beat like an Ugly Baby
10/10 for the title - but it's likely to remain an Ugly Baby having effectively been 'Early Access' for 4 YEARS now!?

Arcane Worlds
The developer was, at least, upfront when his IndieGogo failed late 2014 in-that he wasn't likely to be able to progress some other source of funding (e.g. getting a job) - not likely to see much anytime soon then?

Dungeon Dashers
I believe the solo developer is involved with the mobile 'phenomenon' which is Crossy Road (Frogger for the newkidz) so I guess he doesn't feel like finishing this - which is a shame because it's far from terrible

Under the Ocean
Last I heard the developers were struggling with an update - then 2 days ago the game was pulled from Steam entirely! Apparently the programmer quit so it's all a bit up-in-the-air!?

That's the core of my graveyard - what's yours looking like?

This is a thread about PC games that take advantage of touch screens. It would be nice to have a list of compatible games suggested by the community. Ideally they shouldn't need a keyboard or mouse at all, but that isn't strictly necessary so long as they have well-integrated touch screen controls.
Conversely, there are some games that surprisingly do not work with touch interfaces. Endless Space, for example, is dependent on right clicks for moving ships, making an otherwise excellent game unplayable without a mouse. FTL is functional but hellish, with no spacebar for pausing and tiny crew members that expertly evade my shaking fingers while everything burns down around them.

I've noticed quite a few tablets running windows have snuck into stores lately, as well as desktop all-in-one systems. These platforms obviously aren't ideal for a lot of games, but touchscreens do open up some interesting possibilities for the wannabe artists and Star Trek fans among us. I myself recently picked up a Microsoft Surface Pro second hand which is actually pretty capable, thanks to an i5 and hd4000 graphics.

What I have discovered so far:
Crayon Physics: This is a physics puzzler where the player draws the solutions. Absolutely amazing fun with a stylus, although fingers work as well. Unfortunately a keyboard is necessary for one reason. The ESC button is the only way to access the in-game menu.

Card Hunter: A turn-based strategy\card game which you are probably already aware of if you have been reading RPS lately. I quite like playing this with the tablet lying down on the table, it adds to the board-gaming vibe. Press down on the cards for about a second to preview them. There's probably quite a few browser-based games that work with touch input, this one just happens to be really good.

That's it for now, but I'm downloading Baldur's Gate:Enhanced Edition and the new X-Com game for further experimentation. I'll give em a whirl over the weekend and report back. Feel free to add your own suggestions or or anything else touch-screen related.

The title kinda says it all, i've been a big fan of BF ever since BF2, but i skipped the 4th edition since the reviews scared me with horribad netcode, meh gameplay etc... But the itch needs to be scratched, i found out recently while looking at silliness such as Warface (waaaarfaaaaaceeee!) wistfully... I thought to myself, maybe BF4 is the thing to get, since apparently the next installement of the BF saga will be some CoD/CS wonnabe bullshit that there's probably 0 chance i'll even consider touching, so it'll be a loooong wait before the next actual Battlefield comes out...
So, has the game been patched to a state where it's worth buying it, or is it consoley fail like Titanfall is, with no dedicated servers, **** netcode and horrible menus and stuff?
